Lots Proportion calculates the copied trade volume based on fixed monetary steps from the follower’s chosen account value (for example, Balance).
Instead of scaling trades proportionally, the system counts how many full balance steps fit into the follower’s account and assigns lot sizes accordingly.
Partial steps are not counted.
How It Works
The system:
• Counts how many full Lot Steps fit into the follower’s selected account value
• Multiplies the number of steps by Volume per step
• Uses the result as the copied trade size
Example
Settings used:
• Compared value: Balance
• Lot step: $50
• Volume per step: 2 lots
Follower balance: $120
Calculation
$120 ÷ $50 = 2 full steps
Copied trade size = 2 steps × 2 lots = 4.0 lots
The remaining $20 is ignored, as it does not complete a full step.
Suitable For
