What is Telegram Trader?
Telegram Traders allows you to open positions based on the trade ideas we share in our Official OneRoyal Telegram Channel, without ever leaving the app. All you need to do is link your OneRoyal trading account to Telegram to get started.
How Do I Get Started?
Simply tap Trade in Telegram under any of the trade ideas in our Channel. This opens AnalysisIQBot, our trading bot. From there, you can link your trading account in just a few minutes.
Before you get started, you’ll need:
- The Telegram app on your phone or computer
- Your trading account number (the one you use to sign in to MetaTrader)
- Access to your account in MetaTrader to receive your verification code

Step 1 – Tap Trade in Telegram
Go to our Official OneRoyal Telegram Channel and tap Trade in Telegram under any trade idea to open AnalysisIQBot. Then, tap Start.
Step 2 – Tap Add Login
Tap the Add Login button under the message field. Can’t see the button? Tap ⌘ in the message bar.
Step 3 – Choose Your Server
Choose the server that starts with Channel: OneRoyal Official and ends with the name of the server your account is on.
Not sure which server is yours? You can find it on your MetaTrader login screen or in the welcome email we sent you when you opened your account.

Step 4 – Enter Your Account Number
Type your account number into the message field and click send. Make sure you only use numbers (e.g. 12345678).
Step 5 – Verify Account Ownership
AnalysisIQBot will ask you to verify the trading account is yours. Tap Send Code to have a one-time, four-letter code sent to your trading account in MetaTrader.
Step 6 – Find & Send the Code
Sign in to your trading account on MetaTrader. The four-letter code will have arrived in your Mailbox, as well as a push notification. The message will be titled ‘Telegram Trade Validation’.
On Desktop, go to View > Toolbox in MT5 or View > Terminal in MT4 and open the Mailbox tab.
On Mobile, check your notifications or open the Mailbox in the MetaTrader app.
Once you’ve found your code, go back to AnalysisIQBot, type it into the message field, and hit send. The code will be accepted in all caps or lowercase.
And that’s it! Your trading account is now linked. You can now open positions directly from the trade ideas in our Official Telegram Channel, just by tapping Trade in Telegram.
Is Telegram Trader Safe?
Yes. AnalysisIQBot will never ask you for your trading account password. Only for your account number, so that it can send you a one-time verification code. The code is sent directly to your MetaTrader account, helping prevent unauthorised access.
Never share your trading account password with anyone. We will never ask for your password via any form of communication.
If you receive any suspicious communication or believe your account may have been compromised, please contact us immediately.
Can I Link Multiple Trading Accounts?
Yes. Simply tap Add Login and repeat the steps outlined above for each account you want to link.
How Can I See & Remove Linked Accounts?
To see every trading account you’ve linked, tap Show All Logins.
To unlink an account, tap Remove Login and choose the account you want to unlink.
You can reconnect unlinked accounts at any time.
What Do the Bot’s Menu Options Do?

You can find ‘/start’ and ‘/help’ under the Menu button. If the buttons are hidden, tap ⌘.
Is There a Cost for Using Telegram Trader?
No. OneRoyal clients can use Telegram Trader at no extra cost.
Spreads, commissions, swaps, and all other normal trading costs will apply on any trade you place through Telegram Trader, as they would through the MetaTrader platforms.
Who Provides the Trade Ideas?
The trade ideas shared in our Official Telegram Channel are provided by our third-party partner, Acuity Research Limited, who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN: 787261).
They are not guaranteed signals and should not be considered as investment advice or a recommendation to trade. Each idea has an expiry time after which it may no longer be valid. All trading involves risk.
What Should I Do if I Don’t Receive a Verification Code?
First, check you’re signed into the same trading account you’re trying to link. Look for both the push notification and the message in your MetaTrader Mailbox tab. If you’re on mobile, ensure notifications from the MetaTrader app are turned on.
Why Wasn’t My Verification Code Accepted?
Ensure you’ve typed the correct four-letter code without any spaces. If you requested a code multiple times, use the most recent one you received.
What Do I Do if I Entered the Wrong Account Number or Server?
Send ‘/start’, tap Add login and enter the correct details. Then tap Remove login to delete the incorrect account.
What Do I Do if the Menu Buttons Have Disappeared?
Tap the ⌘ button in the message bar or send ‘/start’ to open the main menu again.
